I’m a documentary photographer based in Vancouver, on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.

My work explores community, place, and the different ways people define a good life, from neighbourhood festivals to gathering spaces to grassroots environmental initiatives. Much of that work happens outside the spotlight, and it’s too often missing from public conversations around climate, cities, and how we live together. Green City, an ongoing personal project, looks at Vancouver’s built environment and its image as a sustainable city.

I’ve also spent a decade in community-based research and international development. I work collaboratively and share my images with the communities and organizations I photograph.

If you’re doing work like this or know someone who is, I’d love to hear from you.
