The Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation marked the 2019 International Development Week with In It Together: A Global Citizen Arts Fest at the Regina Performing Arts Centre, bringing together artists from Treaty 4 territory and around the world. Curated by Bruno Hernani and Roberto Lopez Lopez with the Sâkêwêwak Artists Collective, as part of the city’s Storytellers Festival, the evening brought dance, song, and drumming to the stage while visual artists painted and created live. The event explored global cooperation, justice, and peace through shared storytelling. Images made for SCIC.
